Vacation/15 Months/28 Weeks

Well, we made it back from another fun vacation to Myrtle Beach with Doug's family. Grant had so much fun swimming in the pool and ocean, and he especially loved sharing a condo with his cousin Timmy all week. They sure miss each other now that we are home! It was a laid back trip, and Grant stayed on schedule pretty well and did great during the long car rides. We can't imagine how crazy it will be next year traveling with 2 kids!

Grant is now 15 months old. He had his check-up at the doctor yesterday. He now weighs 25 pounds (52nd percentile) and is 32 1/8 inches tall (75th percentile). His big noggin is still in the 97th percentile. He pretty much stayed in the same percentile range as last time. The doctor said he should be saying about 5-10 words about now, and we told her we've been keeping a list of the words he says, and it's well over 30! So we have quite the jabber jaws on our hands. He just gets smarter and smarter everyday, and the doctor noticed how happy and friendly he is. We are also lucky to have such a great eater as well. He will pretty much eat anything, and loves to mooch any type of food off of anyone he sees eating! He had 2 shots this time and was pretty brave, but of course didn't like them. We are so blessed to have such a happy, healthy little boy!

I am now 28 weeks pregnant and happy to be in the 3rd trimester. Although, I keep waiting for those first trimester symptoms to pop up again, like the fatigue, but for now I am doing great, despite dealing with the heat. Our little guy is so active. I'm sure he's just responding to all the fun and noise he hears from his brother! I also passed my glucose test which is a relief. I have started to notice a few slight braxton hicks, but not very many and not close together. Hopefully it doesn't turn into that like it did with Grant, but we will keep our eye on it. Still no name yet. We are just having so much trouble making a final decision and change our minds everyday. We might just have to wait until we see him and have pressure to finally pick one! No matter which name we pick, though, will turn into the right one for him. We can't believe there are less than 12 weeks to go!
